Description
Another Magic alter for my EDH deck. Based on Aleksi Briclot's Primeval Titan painting . Overall composition and colors are the same as to not cause confusion with players (which is apparently a legit problem, who knew).I didn't record this one, but I plan on Livestreaming the next titan I do.
Mostly Paint Tool SAI (gotta learn this thing), a little bit of texture work in Photoshop CS6.

You realize the goal wasn't to completely imitate Briclot's drawing, right? So the composition can change, you know?

But you didn't change the composition of Elesh or Sheoldred...? Or was it more subtle...?

A big reason I didn't want to do the exact same composition was because of the cropping on the titan, people would give me crap for not drawing hands and whatnot. I might do an entirely new one because I wasn't happy with it when I finished.

Probably? Elesh Norn is more straight-on, her left hand isn't raised, she looks at the camera and doesn't have the red cloth. Sheoldred is almost the same composition as the card from the pack (remember, there's another alternate art for Sheoldred), since it was more of a rendering study than anything. However, mine is still looking at the camera, takes up more of the picture frame sits further to the left than center. I can flip the canvas if it bothers you that much.
