Backstory:
Banished from the land of light, this dark and mysterious Ultra seems to be attempting to buy his way back in. Fighting occasionally alongside the other Ultras but mostly alone, his intentions seem to be of good but not especially noble. He is mostly avoided by others because of his renegade and unorthodox methods, and he seems to be just fine with the fact.

Techniques:
*Invert blade - A blade of deadly energy that seems to absorb matter at an alarming rate on contact extends from the device on his right arm. His usual technique is to leap high into the air and bring it down in a vertical slash through his foes.
*Antimatter Cannon - Charging a shadowy force about himself, Shadowflare unleashes an intense beam of energy that 'erases' the matter of what is targeted.
*Flarefist - His chrome plated hand glows with red-hot intensity and is launched at supersonic speeds, burning the foe. It is drawn back to his arm as it is attached to a heavy metal chain.
*Nebula gaze - a ray of devastatingly destructive energy is fired from his visor. The shape of the visor is burned into the enemy.
*Shadowflare - A last-ditch attack. Absorbing energy from the beings and environment about him into his chest orb, he charges a mighty, surging forcefield that he unleashes in a volatile and unpredictable explosion. The untold destruction and carnage is what led to him being cast from the favour of the land of light. Later in his life, he learned to unleash the energy in a more focused and effective manner and hopes this will attain him favour and re-entry into his homeland.
