Description
The final stage of a Guard Zekrast's life, the airbourne insects have evolved an even more dangerous arsenal to defend their queen.
-Dust Spore- The billions of tiny dust like scales that now coat the wings of the Zekrast can cause a sedative effect, sickness and even complete paralysis and is a technique that makes battling a swarm of adult Zekrast a fool's errand.
-Acid Web- The material gathered in bulk during their juvenile stage resides in their stomachs and can be fired as a projectile that the Zekrast has control over in regards to its purpose. The webbing can be spat as a thick, viscous strand, immobilising attackers or as a potent corrosive, sticking to a kaiju's body and burning into its flesh.
-Winged Hooks- The burrowing limbs they once possessed have now merged and formed into several sharp, hooked legs and a pair of razor sharp scythes. Likewise, one set of its mandibles have become elongated and spitefully barbed. These new appendages allow the Zekrast to cling on to an opponent's flesh and slice into it as the kaiju desperately try to shake them off. The vicious insects can also shake dust or spit acid into the wounds to maximize damage.
-Shock Tactics- The bioluminesence retained from their juvenile forms manifests itself in a far more peculiar way during their adult lives. The glowing organs now reside throughout the surface of their wings, their eyes and their anntenae. These natural light shows can be used to illuminate patterns and images which cause surprise, alarm and fear in the subconsious of their enemies.
