I always figured if they just made the movie design more...masculine like they did in the series it would have been an okay design.

Kinda. I did a design for that a few years back. I do like Zilla's head a lot more though, especially in the shadows like this. It's just a really nice reptilian shape.

Exactly! That's what I love so much about Zilla, his overly reptilian appearance and animalistic nature. He's more like a 'monster' than the king of monsters! lol
