Before i got bogged for work for the next month, an Entry for 's double Feature contest! for the Villain category we have ourselves some good old Psychological/Cosmic horror in the form of "The Remnant".

HT: [REDACTED] (Patients described it to be 250-270 cm in Height)

SPECIES: [REDACTED] (according to our research, its an Spacial Anomaly that acts like an Ethereal Parasite to the mind of its victims/hosts, usually indicated by the strange sigil found etched by those afflicted)

---Entry Log 001: A German Satellite Outpost "Sonne" went offline for 5 years was finally recovered with 90% of staff wiped out with only 3 survivors, all of them found with strange markings scarred on their bodies, and pale white skin. the Cadavers were more deteriorated to a point where Chief of Staff ordered the corpses to be burned.
---Entry Log 002: Outpost "Sonne" survivors were brought in by a fully outfitted Quarantine Squad and put in cells akin to psyche wards and were given basic food and water... but the Chief was very much willing to burn them as well but we convinced him to study them and figure out what in the hell happened.. Guess he didn't want to have his reputation soiled, what ever little of it remained.
---Entry Log 003: Subjects have been showing signs of various Psychological damage, you know; the usual affair of Voices in the head, Hallucinations of a pitch black entity with a doll like upper half, Insane ramblings and fits of sorrow, rage, and drowsiness. The Chief was visibly disgusted and.. come to think of it, he has been in the labs and office for the past several weeks and he looked like he had no sleep during such time... must be the stress.
---Entry 004: we come back 3 days later... and we cant find the subjects, they seemingly escaped! I rush to the Chief's office and.. the mark was there... and so was she... no, no, i was dreaming the whole thing up, everything was fine..... everything is fine... she is not real...
---Entry 005: Everything is fine... she is not real, i was told by a survivor that if i give myself the mark, she will go away. she is not real, maybe i just need some rest....
---Entry 006: Everything is fine, she is not real, its just a bad dream, im told. Woke up sobbing from the bad dream. She is not Real, Everything is fine
---Entry 007: everything is not real. she is fine, the mark i gave myself keeps her away im told, i need to go to sleep, maybe the dream wont be so bad, everything is fine, she is not real

Powers/Skills: Madness Inducement, Corruption of the body and mind, Psychic Powers, Possession, minor Reality Bending, Only seen by those afflicted until it finds the perfect "Host", in which, it will become Real and amplify its powers 10 fold.

And it seems Vicky Velocity would be the perfect Host....
