Fighting style: Anzu is undisciplined, but effective. She knows her way around a blade, but she's got little formal technique. She works best fighting in familiar territory and prefers to set locations for her duels so she can scope out the lay of the land first and use it to her advantage. Battles in tight spots are her preference, especially due to her small stature and good speed, but she carries some of Shakka's steel marbles for situations that call for long range attack.

Because she doesn't have much in the way of brute force Anzu opts for dirty tricks, kicking sand in an enemies face, cutting into the legs to hamper movement, even spitting spirits into their faces and despite her size she's a very experienced grappler. When it comes to an opponent that vastly outranks her she's more likely to cut and run.

She works well with others, responding to her partners fighting style and covering their weaknesses. Team matches are her preference, but she's been accepting more one on one matches since her defeat against Aundre.

Curiously Anzu fights better completely sloshed, but seems unaware of this fact and tries not to have a big night before a match.

Extra Info: After fleeing her famiy obligations Anzu joined the Emerald Mirage, guarding the stores supply wagons and making luck charms, weapon accessories and designing combat wear.

Her hobby is to hunt down, taste and rate every kind of drink in the world. It's time consuming, but she's got a sexy chart drawn up in her bedroom that she updates fastidiously.

Anzu hates losing almost more than anything in the world. Anything except for cats (which give her the sniffles and are kind of sneaky looking) Since losing to Aundre a 7 months ago she's been training almost obsessively in order to beat her in a re-match.

HISTORY: Anzu's Father was a Wakou, a farmer recruited by the Daimyo to pirate along the coast of China and Korea. He met her mother, Yasmeen, on a raid and the two fell swiftly in love and married. They made their home in the Ryukyu islands where Yasmeen became a baby-maker.

Anzu is one of seven children with 2 sisters and 4 brothers. She grew up on boats and always had a thirst for adventure, but lacking the mild manners of her sisters she's the last to find herself a husband. That her 15 year old little sis has already secured one adds particular sting.

Arranged marriages were decided to be the way forward and Anzu fled that particular family obligation a few years ago and has since lived a thoroughly irresponsible life.

She briefly got herself a job with the Emerald Mirage, playing at being a bodyguard and designing store goods, but her feet got itchy after a year or so and she's recently joined the OCBZ for the travel and battle opportunities
