I used Illustrator CS to create this little number. I've aways loved illustrator and it's imaculate lines, it instantly has an appeal of it's own.It started out as a stock shot and I just traced over the top adding a little of my own styling to the people. The original photo was shot on a sunny day, but I feel the night suited it better with the cool blues and illumination from the surrounding street lamps and cars.
Hope you enjoy this as much as I loved creating it, and please leave any kind of crit you want. I feel the boarder is a bit weak, any ideas to improve it welcome?

This was a DD before I was even a member of DeviantArt.
I was searching "Manhatten" because I needed a city, badly.
I think the simplicity of the border creates a striking contrast, and therefore makes the overall piece stand out. But maybe if you think it's too weak you could make it a purple, grey or bluish color... but I'd suggest pastel.

Wow, I really like how crisp and clean this picture looks... However, I wish you had uploaded a high-quality png of it to cut down on the compression. The picture itself is gorgeous with all the gradients and such in there (Plus the shining lights look great too) but the compression is just... Bleh.
Awesome work. I can definitely tell you worked hard on this. Congrats on the featured deviation. You deserve it.

In place of a border, id love to see this in the middle of blackness, its colours and gradients seeping out into the blackness, only losing the last of their colour at, or jsut before the edge...
Im not sure why, maybe its the subtle gradients and smooth colour scheme, but i believe that that would really suit.
