Description
A chart that maps out the development of the first type of Main Battle Robot used during the 1st Interplanetary War era. This chart shows how the first MBR-01 was derived from the early exosuits used by both the USSN and LaGrange and finally the "Jet Jaeger" space-exosuit that inspired the basic body-superstructure, legs, arms, and seated pilot arrangement of the MBR-01. Opposite that are the mobile arthropod and main battle tank types that helped develop the MBR-01's armor and weapon requirements. From the MBR-01 Liberator downwards the chart shows the five main MBRs derived from the original MBR-01: SBR-01, MBR-01T, MBR-01A, MBR-01C, and MBR-01B.
From three of those main tributaries a plethora of other MBR-01 types were created, ultimately culminating in the HBR-01D at the bottom right hand corner of the chart.
The most advanced MBR on the chart is the MBR-01C that was built at the end of the 1st Interplanetary War in 2077 AD.
This chart DOES NOT represent the end of the MBR-01 series, it only shows the battle robots made up to 2079.
Additional MBR-01 types were constructed in the interim years between the 1st Interplanetary War and the Ceres Conflict of 2083 AD.
After the Ceres conflict the MBR-01 was replaced by the MBR-02 series (includes SBR-02 and HBR-02 types).
The flags indicate which stellar power used the battle robot type(s) during the war.
Detailed descriptions of these battle robots can be found under their individual gallery entries here in my gallery.
This series of main battle robot is taken from the science fiction novel "Nexus Arcana: The Stygian Conspiracy".

Very nice and detailed! The only slight critique I'd make is the presence of hand weapons for some of these seems a little at odds with the rather low-tech appearance most of them have been going for.
On the other hand, they all enjoy a great unique look from mechs you'd see in other franchises, so well done on that one.

Thank you.
I admit that I had to weigh in on the gunpods, however, the need for upgrades over time won out, so I added those as a feature (it plays heavily in the plot of the combat sequences of the science fiction novel these are from).
