Oh wow, eight hundred pictures already?

This is in the same timeline as 'Pretty Sonya in Love' and 'The First Kiss', where Sonya and Human! Cyrax fall in love amidst Cyrax's defection from the Lin Kuei.

Leave it to me to bring more OOC drama by making Sektor a former scorned lover who's determination to recapture Cyrax for the Cyber Initiative is more personal and less about following his father's orders. When they do confront one another, Cy-cy is plagued by the feelings he still has for Sektor, and Sektor takes full advantage of it:

Sek: "None shall have you, Fenyang. *grabs him* Not the Forces of Light, nor the American Special Forces and most importantly, not that American cow. I will not give you up so easily."
Cy: "You do NOT own me!" *looks away*
Sek: "You always say that, but we both know you can't disprove it. I have proven it time and time again. Your body does not lie.
Cy: "Shut up."
Sek: "You belonged to me once."
Cy: "When you were human."
Sek: "When I was imperfect. So you admit it."
Cy: *after careful consideration* "I loved him, yes. But you are not him...*utterly heartbroken* not anymore."

...which led to the kiss you see here.
