Astrid - Did Phoebus teach his packmates not to divulge their pack's size? Was it that serious? What would make the packs distrust one another now? Astrid thought soon of Jayce – the odd white wolf she had met just some days before, from Silvyn. She had seemed busy and probably was caught in the middle of... something... when Astrid had spotted her.

Astrid looked back out over the ocean, staying quiet. Something wasn't right. Maybe Alina still knew best, perhaps she was right to tell Astrid not to trust so easily and carelessly.

Rose - "Only him and me ...." Rose finally said cutting the silence as she turned to see Astrid "we are only two ...... or well .... in all this time I've been here I have not seen someone else"she under the ears" I tell you this because I trust in you Astrid "Rose said softly.

Astrid - Astrid stared. Only 2 wolves in all of Halo? That was a lie.. it must be. Or perhaps Rose was too new to really know. Astrid forced herself to tear her eyes away from the lovely pale wolf. There was no way that was possible....
