Well well well. THIS has been sitting on my computer since the end of last year. I colored it over the summer, but never quite finished it. The background was always the problem, and needless to say, I said, "Heck with it, I just want to get this picture DONE."
Yeah, an attempt at a profile with a background. It sucks, I know, and there's a bajillion things wrong with it. The shading is crap, his hand is weird, and the folds in his clothing are completely off. His hair is buggin' me too. >__>
This was colored completely by mouse, since I hadn't gotten my tablet when I colored it. Lineart was done with the pen tool.... some touch ups were made by tablet though.
I'm actually not hating it THAT much, but I know it could be better. I'm just glad I can call this somewhat finished.

I have the next chapter mostly written out, and since I'm in a writing mood for once, I'll try to get it done. I'm terrible at updates, sorry. O__o;;;
All you need to get better at drawing is study anatomy and realism, and from there, life-drawing. 
I'm working on it. I had the bad habit of drawing anime before realism, and now I need to do my realism.

Dude, this rocks. The grass is sweetness, love the rain, adore the way the outfit looks, I just love the whole thing. It's no way crap! Of course, I understand horribly critiquing your own work, but seriously, this is awesome.

HE'S GOT CUTE LITTLE FEET! <3 Aww...this is so sweet. Good profile. I love the coloring technique on his robes and hat you used for this one--it fits perfectly with the dreary, damp, rainy theme of the rest of the picture.

-__- The background is half-assed though, and since he's a Minish, the grass would tower over him! But nobody needs to know that, do they?
