Good tutorial ^^ The only thing is, when I hit "simulate pressure", it didn't and it turned out like the line without pressure simulation.
Is there something I'm missing?

I used it on a section at a time, it's on brush and I'm sure the little box is ticked, but it's still not working ;_;

I have a question, where it shows the layers on the right of the picture, is there a way to keep the little window there?I can have it show, but then when i click on anything else, even to work on a picture, it closes.I was just wondering if that was normal, or if there is anything i can do about it.

Hey, nice tutorial. It helped me out, I hate taking the risk of messing up a good picture when I do line art. I usually make a copy, but I have a bad habit of shading while I'm drawing. Anyways, this is good first step for me, really easy to follow.

and yes, I do agree that when I make a mistake, inking on the real piece of paper, it makes me want to punch someone in the face!!

This is a great tutorial so far. I'm inking one of my pictures and it's working out great. It's a little time consuming, but I would rather take that extra time than ink by hand (which I SUCK at) and screw it all up. Thanks. ^_^

okay, i tried reading all your comments, but then i realized it was three pages long!
so i gave up
oh and i wanted to ask you a question
i don't know how to use the pen tool
because after i pick three vectors, the points connect by themselves and a *triangle or *blob is made, instead of what you showed in the picture
so hope you can help me....if you understood what i meant...now im confusing myself....=]

namirox In reply to namirox [2006-11-04 01:52:28 +0000 UTC]

kokomilk15 In reply to namirox [2006-10-31 05:04:21 +0000 UTC]

LOL
ohh~ I think I did the same thing myself before!! =]
Well, I think that you dragged after clicking the part you want to ink.
Don't drag the mouse. just click on place, let go, click the other part, let go..
and then later, you can use the convert point tool to make the lines more curvy~

I hope you got it.

If this is not the case... hmm...
can you show me an image of how it turns out?

When you click on the pen tool, look up at the top where it has the tools options.
[link]
Select the thing circled in red. The other one makes shape layers, which are harder to work with. =^_^=
