Description The unthinkable.
Mars is consumed by war. The Nephilim march upon all of the powers. The Alpha- the Heretic - commands them.

The kill codes failed. Dr. Jahova, fearing for his familie’s safety for his inability to halt the rising crisis, confronts Kain for the failure of his contingencies.

Kain simply smiled. “The codes failed. He proclaimed. Because there were no codes.”

The room was as silent as the void.
Taking a seat, Kain faced his fellow colleagues and told them the truth.

He had a son once. A son whose stance against the Mongolian regime had him declared a deviant and killed. And for that, Kain hated them all. Not just his native country, but the entire structure. Every power. For in his eyes, they were all the same.
He cried for vengeance, and in the darkness of his mind, something answered him.
A voice from the abyss.
The origin of Core matter.
An existence named O’daheum.
Ages past, O’daheum was once a creator, shaping the cosmos like a sculptor before their imprisonment in Terra’s dark womb. In an attempt to soothe Kain’s raging heart, O’daheum afford their craft and passion to him. The knowledge of creation.
Kain was overjoyed by O’daheum’s gift, but not in the way the great being had hoped. For in Kain hands, creation would be the instrument of his vengeance against the world that killed his son.
From the gift of O’daheum’s essence he forged the Nephilim, disguising them as seemingly obedient servants of the Urkanites to hide their true purpose.
And when the Nephilim spread across the system beyond Terra’s easy reach, Kain created the fuse that would ignite the Nephilim’s rebellion.
He created the Alphas.
Gifted with intelligence and will, the Alphas were also imprinted with Kain’s secret, his hatred of the powers; for in their creation he poured his grief and fury into their core powered hearts, and a secret command. Grow, become stronger, and when the time is right, burn this reality to the fucking ground.

And now, the Nephilim, his children, his wonderful creations, would bring him vengeance and create a new world for humanity. A world where their people would be free from tyrants, under the protection of his Nephilim.
Looking to his comrades, he revealed that if the federation were to discover his treachery, he, and the entire team would be implicated and executed along with their families, no matter if they were innocent of Kain’s actions.
So he offered his colleagues a choice. defection.
He would take responsibility for the “failure” of the Nephilim to the senate and proclaim his intention to build a new class of warriors called serephs, Nephilim slayers. Slaved to federation A.I.s and incapable of independent thought.
This would buy the scientists time to ward off suspicions and prepare themselves and their families for a quick exodus.
The war for mars was escalating rapidly. Massive armies of Nephilim and human defectors clashed with the forces of the loosely allied powers for the fate of the red planet.
As the war on mars dragged on, the Nephilim, with no way to replenish their number, began to slow down in many theaters across the battered world.
The Heretic, supreme commander of the Nephilim army, knowing that if he could not find a way to bolster his forces, the far more numerous superpowers would overwhelm his rebellion.
In a daring raid, a team of Nephilim landed on Terra and rescued the scientists.
Smuggled on a trading freighter outbound for the fuel depots of Jupiter, They were brought to the frozen moon of Titan, where the Heretic waited for them.
On this desolate moon, the Heretic, with aid of Kain and his colleagues, would build the Fortress of Tan, named after Kain’s son.
It would a new home for the Nephilim, where new warriors would be born and raised in freedom from the Tyrants of Terra.
At this time, the Nephilim war began in earnest. Amassing a fleet of starships that had defected to him, the Heretic launched a new incursion into Terra controlled space.
The Sol system’s space lanes were engulfed in flame as Nephilim and Terra warships tore into each other with unbridled fury.
Millions marched on the scorched sands of mars as the surface burned with glow of nuclear fire.
However, no matter how hard the Nephilim fought, the industrial power of Terra was too great, and it became known to all that if the Nephilim were to achieve victory against the superstates, they needed to strike at the heart of their power.
They needed to strike Terra.
Drawing Terra’s forces to false fronts, the Heretic, with the bulk of his forces, invaded the Terra spheres with a two prong attack on the colonies of Luna and Terra herself.
The battles of Terra saw the war at it’s heightist as Nephilim drop pods fell like rain from the sky.
The Nephilim deployed their forces across the planet, entrenching themselves in their enemies home turf.
The superstates sent all they had against the Nephilim; serephs, wardrones, mechs, post-Nephilim horrors created after Kain’s defection in a attempt to replicate his work, and many more.
Crystal-like Cities were erased from the surface by orbital bombardment.
Wildfires swept across the great gardens of Terra, and billions burned in the crossfire.
But it was not enough. The superstates were too powerful, and the Nephilim were forced back to Luna, were the new battle line was drawn.
Calling his commanders and advisors to him, the Heretic revealed to them that if the war continued, they would lose.
He asked for a plan of survival.
The answer came from an ex-intelligence officer from the Europium conclaves, who revealed that her former government had been building a FTL Gate in the rings of Saturn. A project called odysseys.
Due to unknown reasons, a great barrier was found surrounding the system, preventing most known forms of FTL travel.
To escape the barrier, the conclaves had built a gate to teleport them past the effects of the barrier and into the greater galaxy.
If the Nephilim were to seize the gate after completion, they could leave the Sol system and start a new existence amongst the stars.
The Heretic accepted, and ordered the Nephilim army to withdraw from the fronts, hiding themselves in the darkest corners of Sol.
The superstates, confused but thankful that the war had seemingly ended in their favor, declared victory and began to rebuild their civilization.
Decades past as the Nephilim army waited, their agents amongst the superpowers pushing for the Odysseys project’s continued work.

Finally, the gate was completed, and new colonies were created on the worlds of the newly discovered Goldaus cluster.
As the gate security fleets became lacks in their vigilance and travel to Goldaus became common, the Nephilim war machine roared back to life.
Bands of Nephilim launched multiple attacks against the superstates to draw their attention away from the main Nephilim force headed for the Gate.

The battle of Odyssey’s Gate was madness incarnate as the Nephilim fought desperately to take the gate before Terra main forces could be sent to stop them.
Capturing the gates command center, the Nephilim plotted a path to a new system and began to send their people through.
It was a race against time. The fleets of Terra were hot on their heels as they made their escape, with many trading their lives to slow them down.
Unknown to all, Kain, the man who began it all, had secretly traveled back to Terra in the chaos, and into the deep catacombs of her bones.

In that dark abyss, Kain spoke to O’daheum for a final time.
“O’daheum! My partner. My friend. You who gave me hope again and gave me the power to stand against the corruption of my people, hear me!
Our creations flee from this system for a new life away from this hell, hounded by the Tyrants that sought to enslave them.
Even if they escape, the Tyrants will never stop hunting them, and they will be killed.
I must protect our children. I must stop the Tyrants!
O’daheum! Great O’daheum! Grant me the power to save our people! Grant me power!

And in a moment of existence before his death, Kain was O’daheum.
In that moment, the life of Sol screamed.
Minds were shattered. Flesh was burned. Worlds turned to oceans of ash.
And Sol song with life no more.

The Nephilim had escaped the death of Sol, and landed on a new world, a world they would name Titon. The fatherland.
Free at last from the old powers of Sol, the Nephilim, the humans that had fought them, and the new children born from them both, began to build a future.
And on the top of a hill, the Alpha Nephilim, the Heretic, the savior, the chosen of O’daheum, looked upon his people, and smiled.
