I dunno how many of you guys use a mac, but maybe this will pick up past my watchers.

Basically, I got sick of putting up with Microsoft Entourage. That program is bullshit. And I don't feel like figuring out Mail. So I noticed I only ever use Gmail.com anymore, but hate having to open a new tab whenever I need to use it. I liked having the dock icon for Entourage but I didn't like that it opened Entourage (lol)

Listen to me, we people are so demanding nowadays it's putting me to tears.
Anyway, I did like five minutes' worth of work and made this awesome standalone Gmail app that basically opens the Gmail.com website in an app window.

I claim no credit for the app writing, it was all Fluid .

But I did make the icon! With an image I stole off google images!

Whatever. I didn't wanna take forever on it. I just needed to get rid of fucking Entourage. And I'm finding that this new Gmail app works pretty well. It even puts up a badge when you have new mail and the periodic checking it does isn't nearly as draining to your system as Entourage's. And it's very easy to ignore. Entourage shoves itself down your throat when you get email, which pisses me off cause most of it is Adobe and Threadless newsletters anyway.

I'm putting it up here to share it with others that may be in my situation.

Q: LOL ARTUR HOW DO I GET THE APP? ALL I SEE IS A PICTURE.

A: Click download. Unzip the file it downloads. Your computer probably does this automatically.

Q: BUT WHY IS THIS BETTER THAN ENTOURAGE OF MAIL OR ANY OTHER PROGRAM I MAY BE USING?

A: Because Google has their shit together.
