Diva sat alone by the main entrance to the impressive ballroom and tapped her feet to the slow but catchy waltz music being played for the guests. She watched them attentively, delighted by the sight of how they transformed the music into motion, be they young or old, human or monster, Terran or Alien.
Suddenly, she heard a quirky voice nearby. "Excuse me, blue lady?" She looked to find a handsome skeleton in a blue suit bowing beside her, his voice full of anticipation. "May I have this dance?"
She presumed from her failure to notice his approach that he could be very smooth and light on his feet.
"Ah," Diva smiled and rose to her feet, letting the skeleton take her hand and guide her to the dance floor. "Why the heck not."
