Hi guys !Another Lara model from my classic series, hope you like it
I thought that since I really got into rendering lately, I could use cycles renders as preview pic for my models. What do u guys think ? Do you like the new style, or would you prefer the old one ?
~ model/ textures are made by me ( used Lisa from DoA as base mesh)
You have additional bubble braid ( from FMV ) and normal braid to choose from
I also added the pose I used in my render.
* rendered in blender cycles

Just asking, do you plan on adding the South Pacific Makeup on your previous LC models but as an alternate version?
It made her look more like Lara Croft, not that your previous makeup didnt, but this one really made a big difference

.....Jolie isn't british yet she played Lara. issue with that too? Alicia is a fantastic actress and did a great job playing reboot Lara. Core Design Lara isn't the same thing.

I'm with you man, all I want is for the character of Lara Croft to be done justice on the silver screen. It's not hard at all because if you look at this model for instance, THIS is the character that we all fell in love with when the Tomb Raider series first launched.
Simple formula:
- Hold auditions for incredibly sexy British woman with resemblance to character (There are many so I don't see how this could be a problem).
- Actress must wear authentic Lara attire.
- Acting skills can be taught/learned if actress cannot act (work in progress before movie is even announced).
- Use locales from previous games with relevant story or create original story.
- Action, suspense, thrills etc.
Why is it that we have made great strides in technology and are still not able to see 1:1 representations of video game, novel or comic book characters? I swear if Hollywood spent half as much time on the source material as they do on their marketing then we could actually see something excellent.

but Core Lara doesn't exist anymore. As much as I love Core Lara and want nothing more than Lara to be back to Core. This is a film based on the reboot. Lara is no longer the same woman she was with Core.
Alicia was great in the film. (as much as I don't like reboot lara) definitely the right pick to play the new croft we unfortunately have now.

I actually like reboot Lara very much but I am a much bigger fan of original Lara. The actress in the movie might have skills but when it comes to looks she cannot hold a candle to reboot Lara.

Marzy mi się robienie ŁADNYCH modeli do gier ..... Takim moim marzeniem byłoby zrobić model klasycznej Lary do tego słynnego remake'u TR2 Nicobassa. Nie żebym miał jakieś straszne wąty do jego Lary, która bazuje na TRU, ale uważam, że ... klasyczna Lara ma po prostu trochę inny, mniej grzeczny styl. Serio chciałbym zobaczyć moją Pannę Croft w takiej właśnie grze

Trochę to zabawne że wspominasz o tym remake'u gdyż pierwsze o czym ja pomyślałem po odpaleniu tego dema było dosłownie "kurczę szkoda że nie użył modelu od Konrada". Shadery UE4 w połączeniu z urodą twojego modelu dawałyby naprawdę powalający efekt, a już oglądanie go w ruchu to byłaby prawdziwa uczta dla oczu. Ehhhhh....... tak, twój model w tej grze to naprawdę byłoby coś wspaniałego
