inspired somewhat by who recently drew a few pics of Elites with baggy jumpsuits under their armor armor plates [link] having apparently decided that their normal armor was 'too smooth' and unrealistic. while i don't think that makes a lot of sense -i mean, advanced technology is supposed to be advanced LOOKING, right?- it did inspire me to create this image.

this is either a stay-at-home "police" sangheili, or possibly one from around the time of their integration with the Covenant, which was... less than peaceful. if you look closely, you can see the seams and texture of his pants; he is also wearing a skin tight t-shirt and boots. over this is his first layer of armor, composed of small, overlapping discs of ceramic composite -bulletproof vests today can have inserts of metal or ceramic plates, and i have seen BPVs on Futureweapons or something that also are made od overlapping ceramics; never mind that scale mail is an ancient form of armor- backed by a kevlar-like material, with maybe a layer of 'liquid armor' (stiffens on impact) between. his helmet, torso, and leg plates are thicker ceramic and metal composite. he is carrying a twin revolver (seven shots each) ans a sword with a heavy 'hilt' for clubbing. he has a radio antenna and a scope of some kind on his helmet.
not being possessed of the "too smooth" body suit -or it's accompanying advanced technology- he does NOT have shields or boosted strength.
