Description
Concept sketches for 's second request. This is Benuthet, an Egyptian gargoyle based on a lion.I know you asked for him to be wearing the symbol of Thoth, but I'm not sure if you mean the eye or the bird head of Thoth, so please let me know! And please do tell me what you think and whether you want any changes made.

Also remember, that Benuthet was hatched before the Humility Spell was cast (Though it IS cast during his lifetime, but later). The false beard for his mane looks cool...But is it practical to remove right before dawn? Benuthet doesn't wish to shred his clothes upon awakening in the evening.

I looked up the Humility spell so I could understand it better. I think that Benuthet could just pull the beard thing off before turning to stone. Putting it back on must be pretty tricky though or we could just pretend it's got hinges so that he doesn't have to go through the trouble of feeding his mane through it!
As for the Thoth symbol, that's pretty much what I've got going in the coloured sketches at the bottom there, although it's a bit small to see

I was actually thinking of the most basic Thoth symbol, the Circle (full moon) resting in a bowl-Symbol, (crescent moon) But honestly, the Eye of Thoth or the Ibis symbol also work for me. Which one do you think looks best?
