From the lines: [link]Haggai Passkl, Explorator of the Adeptus Mechanicus and Enginseer Prime of the Black Belladonna (that's quite a mouthful, even just to type out). I'm going with the theory that his boltgun was scaled down for him (rare, but it fits with my vision of the Adeptus Mechanicus) rather than simply saying I draw Warhammer guns too small, almost every time.
As usual, coloring is a challenge.

There are still plenty of issues with the colors here, but I'm glad that you like the results just the same.

not sure even an enginseer would be permitted to wield a boltgun worthy of the astartes to begin with, plus them damn things kick like mules.

Oh, I'm sure it wasn't an Astartes model (I've seen it's stats) - it's just a standard bolter with a slightly scaled-down outer housing.

As a relative newcomer to the universe, I've had very little exposure to them. What I have read has piqued my interest - they seem like a very interesting faction.
Though, of course, I'll probably end up gunning several down during our Deathwatch campaign.

Mechanicus shock troops tend to favour the Hellguns but why not a human size bolter. After all they are the adeptus mechanicus, if people are able to do whatever they want with a gun it's them.
