Description

Another Rogue Trader character, this time the ship's Missionary and Confessor, Perdito. A discipline of the Cult of the Golden Path, Perdito preaches that the Imperial Truth guides humanity to embrace and wealth and privilege that it has grasped across the galaxy, and to exalt the God-Emperor through the accumulation and display of vast, unfathomable wealth. With a creed like that, he is a favorite of his Lord-Captain, and regularly called upon to help bring further wealth into their grasp, all while wrapping the quest in a cloak of religious fervor.

Perdito's design came straight from his player, so this was a pretty simple sketch to put together. I worked through a couple of different poses (originally I was planning on including Perdito's flamer), but in the end I decided to focus on his staff of office (complete with the holy script that he claims proves the worthiness of sect) and the censer that he constantly carries with him to bless any financial dealings. I can't say that his haircut gets my approval, but it does fit him. I look forward to seeing how Perdito changes as the campaign develops - how much is he willing to accept, in the name of the profits that he holds dear? (Given that it's a Rogue Trader game, my guess is that it will be quite a bit of compromise).

I may work on colors for this, depending on whether or not I have time.
