Believe it or not, but I'd classify this as Portal 2 fanart.This is inspired by the song Exile Vilify by The National, a song you hear in the game. [link]
I love it. So so much.
So this combined with the art in the comic that accompanies Portal 2 inspired this picture.
I'm not entirely sure what it's supposed to say, but it was a nice way to let out what this song makes me feel. I do think of Ed when I hear it.

So I just fell in love with this song after hearing it. .___.
I find this picture has a nicer impact when seeing it from a distance or from a smaller document. All the scratch-marks or hatching you've done in this looks more like suggestive texturing from a smaller picture, and it looks great when smaller in my opinion! I think what caught my attention the most were the hands pointing down at Ed since it makes for an interesting concept.
Looks like you've got the raw emotion down from the song into this since the work looks pretty rough and suggestive.

It definitely looks better zoomed out. I drew most of the picture pretty zoomed out, so it's a mess when you look at it closer. I should just resize the thing and make it small. I THINK I had some kind of message in mind when I did this and that's where the hands come from. I totally forgot though. <__>
