Another one of those comics I made as a sample for the school I'm applying to.This time featuring Slenderman.
Know that feeling of being followed when you're out walking at night? You look over your shoulder, but there's nothing there?

I dunno. I mean, he's a monster. He's mean to be frightening, but we can't stop the fan girls. For with every great thing, comes the fan girls that tend to mess up things.
I mean, if they think he's sexy. So be it, we can't really do much about it

It was just a quick idea I had about that feeling where you're walking out at night and you are SO SURE someone's following you. And I was on a Slenderman hype at the moment. So this was pretty natural to do. I didn't want it to be very long, since it was just a quick idea, but I'm glad you like it!

Slenderman is a modern myth that was created on the Something Awful forums. It's difficult to explain what he is. Best way to explain him would be to point to the series Marble Hornets on Youtube [link] (and then watch onwards) if you want a rather traumatic experience on what he is (be warned, Marble Hornets WILL make you shit bricks.)
He is what you make him to be. But he always knows when you're thinking of him and when you fear him. c: <

I've been playing around with the idea of continuing it and making it a few pages long. Also, I think the layout of this page looks a little iffy so, Im probably going to redo it in the near future.

I really dont see a problem with the layout myself, but then again I'm not the artist. I say do whatever you feel happy with and run with it. I'm sure it'll be a great comic if you do.

I want that creeper's suit The inking on this piece is very well done! I particularity enjoy the way the panels were organized, and how we follow the character at different angles. With all the dynamic views an angles, the page seems exciting to look at, and also makes the reader tense I find.
I like how Slenderman is introduced in the first panel though. His faceless expression and faded legs are my kind of taste in frightening designs.
Excellent work! I believe this is worthy for a portfolio piece!
