on the convent that I'm going to, UppCon 07, there's gonna be a drawing contest. The subject is 'Bad Luck' (cuz' the contest's on friday the 13th, oh yes, they are so funny *cough, cough*)
anyway. Yes, this IS Pokémon fanart. I've been on a pokémon rampage lately (curse you ~Rikaz , curse yooooou!!) so I started scribbling this while watching the old episodes (ah, the nostalgia, can you believe I was actually a pokémon fanatic?)
this is a Banette. one of the newer pokémons, I'm trying to keep my poké-knowledge up to date, and I stumbled across this one, it's one of my new favourites.
It looks kind of unlucky, don't you think?
It was abandoned shortly after evolving from it's Shuppet form, it's 'owner' didn't like the sudden change from cute to not so cute (I think it's cute, but she didn't) she abandoned and left it to take care of itself. It wanders the street of towns, searching for love and affection and wondering why nobody loves it.
I love the effect that the broken umberella brings. The Banette probably found it lying in a trashcan and it's trying to protect itself from the rain.
