i'm pretty much disappointed lately by all the people who prefer positive themes in photography. vivid warm colors, smiles and all that c--p. and they're not saying it out loud of course, they just tend to
like crazy any tanned girl in orange swimsuit and... that's it, nothing else matters at this point. and of course they ignore everything else. it's a good thing minor key is normal and respected in music. what's so wrong about some pain and drama in photography?ยฉ 2009 Konstantin Alexandroff (Dirty Angels .Net -- [link] )

Although I'm not a fan of manipulated images, this one I like; somehow reminds me of Edgar Allan Poe's dark stories that I used to love so much.

Scary and somehow erotic ... and that is even more scary. Everything else was said, and i don't like to repeat something, except that you are amazing artist and your model is unique and gorgeous!
But i wonder if the disappointment you mentioned one year ago is still present. Because i realized that maybe nothing changed, but maybe i do not have the overview.

I think this is one of the finest photographs I've seen on DeviantArt - which says a lot! At least, it stirs me at this moment, to the very depths of my spirit. The model's fingers are gorgeous and almost un-real; her body is lovely and, while very thin, doesn't have the "starved" look of a lot of models. The crows and the water give this piece a magical flare: as if she is summoning ancient spirits from the depths of the waves. It's fantastic. Great work.
