This is just SO great, so inspiring. In my non-underground persona, (not yet on DA) I am collaborating on a comic story that the artist is populating with fantasy animals, and I can't wait to show him this. Reminds me of WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE, and Miyazaki (PRINCESS MONONOKE), and a book by Geoff Ryman called The Unconquered Country where the houses are living creatures...

Nice creative piece of art you made. I like the coloring and the idea of a kind of prison between those feet.

awesome trees! how did you do that cool effect with the watercolor? it seems like the top part of the tree is lighter and the bottom is darker.

This watercolour is Dr. Ph. Martin concentrated watercolour, so they do this interesting blooming effect on paper.
Thanks so much!

Cool! I usually use watercolor from a tube. I think I'll try that sometime. Thank you!

There is something ominous yet comforting about this creature's dualist character. Guess the Tree-like design also contribute to this... very cool!

Ooooh...
It looks like it's made out of a spooky castle in the middle of the woods.
That's amazing.

I love the little antlers. I can almost see a structure/face in it...then it disappears as I look closer.

This is by far, my favourite series of yours. I've been following your tumblr and all of the posts you've made, and I can't wait to see the others come onto DA!
I even saw one of your drawings get featured on another art tumblr I follow, which I thought was really cool. Keep it up!
