I must agree with You. I liked Luna when she appears ("OMG, SHE'S SO DARK, SO GHOTIC, SO MYSTERIOUS, SO COOL!") but when I start to think, I find Celestia as wise, carfull, noble and really inteligent Queen (for me she's Queen, not just 'Princess'). And I do not understand people who call her "sweet, stupid Mary-Sue" or "cruel, heartless troll".

Her decision was right (Sorry, Luna...), she saved her subjects from starvation (Night forever = No plants, no food, no life).

And If she did it to be only ruler, too? THAT'S GREAT FOR ME! Because it means that she's clever and have temperament From day to day I like her more and more.
