Description
This is a setting from a really vivid dream I had recently. I had to get past the lizard thing on the stairs (which is much deadlier than it looks I swear
) in order to reach the upside down room where I could call for help. Wierd, I know, but an interesting concept to draw. I really wish this was in color -the lizard thing is supposed to be red against the green background of vines-maybe I'll try a different version in colored pencils.

Cool dream! This is an interesting piece with lots of nice details. While the shading techniques could be better and contrast could be stronger, I really like the composition and how surreal it is. The hanging portrait appears to be defying gravity.
The twisting plants, upside-down grass, and cracks in the wall really make this fun to look at.
I like how the beams of light are coming through the window, but those areas could be even lighter to make it more obvious. This would definitely look better with some color, especially if you stick with earth tones and some green and yellow. It looks a little washed out right now, some lines could be clearer and there could be darker shading over all.
