Why were they Chosen for Project Freelancer: He hacked the UNSC data base

Personality: Wisconsin is a big nerd, and he doesn’t deny it. He would much rather be left behind on missions to crack codes or update his Xbox Live scores. He’s a nice enough guy to hang around, and usually is good about remembering that the people around him aren’t as tech savy as he is. He’s borderline socially awkward; there are just some personality types (mostly female ones) that he just can’t seem to read properly, so he often makes a fool of himself in those situation. But all in all, he’s a computer nerd at heart.

Backstory: Wisconsin was an unemployed, living in his parent’s basement nerd with a Comm. Tech degree before he found himself hacking into the UNSC data base with just an old laptop. The authorities were fast on him, but he was offered the opportunity to join project Freelancer instead of facing jail time. He became fascinated with the opportunities after a “tour” of one of their facilities where they were experimenting with organic circuitry harvested from some alien source.

I said I was going to do formal profiles for my Freelancer babies for my fic I’m working on. I found a profile template I liked, but I recreated/modified it to fit better for the information I needed/wanted to give.

You can tell what I drew and what I didn’t I used an armor generator thing first (with some PSing on Monty and Ham of course), then I spring boarded from that as I drew, so yeah my drawings aren’t 100% accurate to any game armor, but hey I’m trying. Any similarity to anyone else’s character of the same name is totally coincidental; I actually had the “game models” generated before I found the profile template. I Googled for their weapons; I can’t really draw weapons that well either People who know me know where to find the foreshadowing in details

Few other notes…when I said “Neo” in the nationality, that was my lazy/easy way to show that they grew up in some space colony thing without picking a specific place to name “The Red Republic” is an amalgam of the Asiatic/Oriental countries (people familiar with my past work will remember that I did the same thing in Jerricho). So yeah “Neo” means born in space, no “Neo” means they were born on Earth basically.

But all in all I’m very happy with how these came out. After doing these I want to go back and rewrite some parts of my story now to include more of these guys, and since I haven’t typed any of that yet…I totally can and no one will notice lol. But yes, these are my freelancer babies, and I love them dearly. Hope you enjoy them too.
