all gamers know that save points mean one or more of the following:a) you're about to enter/have reached the halfway point of a long, complex, possibly final dungeon
b) a boss battle is coming up
c) something terrible/completely plot-changing is about to happen
imagine if the RPG characters figured that out as they went along.
[i used FF9 as a medium for this because the save points in FF9 are the effing MOOGLES. "no guys, seriously. the last time we found a moogle in the middle of a random, freaky place? WAS NOT GOOD NEWS. WE ALMOST DIED. am i the only one who remembers this?!"]

I understand that a boss is coming or that something terrible/completely plot-changing is about to happen or even that your about to enter/have reached the halfway point of a long,complex,possibly final dungeon but if you try to go without saving because of a friendly kupo then you will die on accidently then you have to start all over again and when I mean ALL OVER AGAIN.I been there and done that.

Everytime i would see a moogle i'd be like "OHMYGAWD THANK YOU JEAZUS!" -runs toward moogle and a battle- "FFF NOOOO!!! please dont die please dont die please dont die" -after battle and save- "YES! SAFE!"
