Right!? These ferocious critters have such brilliant aero-dynamic form. They just look cool, and the fact that they're so aggressive and vibrant just adds so much to their overall badassery. I'm particularly fond of giant hornets myself, those bee hunting sons of guns get me all types of excited haha

oh ehll yes,the asian giant hornets are my favorites by far xD  also i hear they cane ven kill larger animals if provoked,im even making one of the main characters in my comic a insect god thats basically a moth and hornet cross in design x3 moths/butterflies are my top fave insects with hornets being a hard second x3

Yeah humans have died from multiple organ failure from multiple stings from those things! Pretty sure I'd just die of panic if one landed on me lol. Looking forward to the design of this insect god of yours! I am still working out a design for butterfly and moth-based species in my Exolution series, there's just so much design variety among those two that it's hard to pick one to develop much further than a rough sketch! @~@

thanks! and yeah the god will be coming up soon x3 im just getting through all the bios of the main cast and as for a moth design...i typically love the hawkmoths and you might like the poodle moth if you havent seen that one :U

Yeah same here, world building is so uniquely satisfying! I recently finished mapping out 700 monsters I'd like to create (about 100 different species with 7 variants based on unique magic abilities, blah blah) and am now trying to get through building a map of the world so i can further map out the countries and regions in which each monster variant can be found... Fun stuff x3 I love poodle moths too though! Will definitely be trying to incorporate some of that design into one of my 7 moth variants, as well as a hawk moth and some luna, atlas, creatonatos... I wanted to be able to capture a wide variety of natural design elements and reflect the diversity of wild animals so I might have gone a bit overboard with variants lol, but how can you not when there are ao many insanely inspirational creatures to pick from!?

agreed, its impressive how many life forms we have on earth, like sometimes i read up on different animals on wikipedia and can just be there for longer then i planned because i keep going through different sub species of animals in the links xD

Ohhh, the countless hours spent captivated by images of animalistic nature~ When I was a kid, my dad had one of those old-school Encyclopedia/Dictionary bookcase collections and I would just spend my afterschool hours glazing over all the different species of birds and bugs and reptiles and wolves I could find. Always had a fascination with wildlife, the least I can do is try to carry it over into my artwork ^^

And yeah it's been several years in my mind and finally putting it onto paper (or rather, a Google Spreadsheet xD) really helps illustrate just how deep the world I want to build is... Initially I want to write a comic, but I would LOVE to turn it into a game eventually... hence why I'm essentially building a living game doc upon which to base the rules and conditions of the world in the comic lol, but honestly it's probably too big to process and the mechanics I'd like to use probably wouldn't market very well in the long run. Even if nothing ever comes of it, its so therapeutic to just see this massive world that's been in my head being explained and illustrated in text form... maybe I'll write a book series or something, would be much less intimidating than a multi-arc illustrated comic... Do you perhaps have any samples of this comic of yours? I love to read stuff on WebToons in my down time and always like to check new out up and coming ideas

ive got to admire your devotion to doing this because you love to,and not just for fame and money,ive MET TOO MANY PEOPLE like that and it always makes me smile when i see a person like you with actual passion! :3 and as for the comic,im in the process of getting it done,just finishing all the main charatcer bios first x3

Daww, thanks meng I mean in all fairness, I already have a job getting paid to do art as a graphic designer, but yeah my personal projects are more for me and just the love of seeing them come to life more and more than anything else. If it happens to take off and get noticed and I'm eventually able to make a living by just drawing things for a world I'm passionate about creating, I wouldn't be opposed to that xD  But that's not the goal, and I'll keep building it up whether it ever gets noticed or not :V Hopefully things in life settle down soon so I can get back to working on it, everything's kinda crazy right now lol. Very curious to see your other characters for your series though, really looking forward to this insect god fellow
