I've always wondered if, with that strange design on their back, they're intended to be a new, living skin covering the old Cacodemon form.

I've made quite a few DOOM figures, you can see them all at my id Software fan art page if you're interested:

I'll probably make some more DOOM figures one of these days, but I don't have any plans for the immediate future.

For a second there I was gonna say this is the Pain Elemental but... I dont remember how the DOOM 64 cacodemon looks like. (not since I had that game and other stuff stolen from my house years ago)

The DOOM 64 Cacodemon does resemble a DOOM 2 Pain Elemental quite a bit, but their are differences if you sat them side by side to compare. The DOOM 64 Pain Elemental is really fruity looking with a mohawk and two mouths on either side of its body.

Wow, thats really weird. I wish I could find a used copy of DOOM 64 somewhere, since I still have my N64.

Try eBay, that's where I bought my copy, years ago. I would think you'd be able to get it for less than $20, including shipping. Alternatively, some fans made a mod of DOOM 64 (including all the levels and altered monsters) for PC DOOM, look around and you should be able to find it.

He looks seriously wicked! I thought it was the same as the DOOM2 one... but it's completely different... and waaaayy cool and accurately done!
