thank you! I used to do videos of how I do things but no one watched them. I do things very traditionally, with manual cut/paste, erasing backgrounds, selective lighting, some digital painting, and I also take my own photographs when I need a texture or element that I can't find elsewhere, etc... The rest is PSP magic, lol

My best advice is to get a program like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro and just play with pictures and see what happens. That's how I learned. Also, there are plenty of Tutorials here on DA and on Youtube of course.
btw, PSP is much less expensive than PS and you can do almost anything (including using PS filters) in Paint Shop Pro that you can do with Photoshop. Download a trial-version and just play with it
