Me, and of course Asylus XD, wonder how did make black-white colors in the flashback of Luigi, when Semi-Perfect Mecha Sonic prepare his attack to destroy Yoshi Island in SMBZ Episode 6.If somebody, who was sprite animator, can help me to make actionscript to make a scene with black and white colors, so I can make flashback so easy.
If not, then give me a hint to make flashback effect for my sprite series.

I usualy color the backround and people black and white and remake the entire scene.

well, what I usually do when making a flashback is have those white cloud-like outlines around the screen...

You could always recolour the sprites, then again that would take a while

All you do is adjust the colors of the symbols. You do not need to color over the sprites.
