There are two different forms with two different colors of auras.The yellow aura shows that's not Super Saiyan from Dragon Ball series, but it will shows that's Mario's Semi-Star God form.
Semi-Star God form is not Mario's true form, but it shows that Mario's strength and speed is increasing literally, including, when Mario is collecting two or three Star Spirits, Mario unlocked his Semi-Star God form.
The white aura shows that Mario's REAL form as the Star God.
The Star God is Mario's true form, and his strength and speed increasing to the max. This transformation form will be complete if Mario's collect all of the Star Spirits and obtained the power of the second Star Rod.
