First Officers week continues with everybody’s favorite green blooded hobgoblin (thanks to Bones for that colorful description) Mr. Spock. He was originally depicted on the pilot episode as only the Science Officer under Captain Pike’s command. However, by the time Kirk took command of the Enterprise, Spock was promoted to First Officer. Half-human and half-vulcan Spock set the tone for all First Officers to come.Related content

Ha- Who doesn't love Spock. He is one of the greatest fictional characters of all time. Easily in my top ten.
I can't take credit for all the fact and trivia- some is stuff I know from who knows where, some from IMDB and other places.
