Description
I had made this because one of my biggest pet peeves is seeing images with a similar color scheme right next to each other. This is one of my biggest motivating factors in art ΒRelated content

The painting only consists of rough strokes but all together they result in a beautiful painting. Good job

Thank you! Iβve been trying to remember to zoom out to see how the rough marks look and Iβm glad they turned out alright on this one!

Thank you!Β
Itβs always a treat to break away from my current color phase to try my old favorites. Especially when my colors have been so dark and purple lately π°

Thanks! I just randomly made her dress like that when I thought her up, but I had been inspired by photos of white nightgowns leading up to this. But looking at it now, it looks very close to my old asymmetrical skirt from high school. Maybe a little kleptomnesia in thereΒ Β

Hehe, there's nothing bad about that kleptomnesia, though I wouldn't call that, because all ideas come from somewhere. Even the creative ones. The real thing is to impregnate them with your personality, your own touch.

Haha yes. Although Iβve had a few scary instances where an βoriginalβ image would pop into my head... only for me to realize it was from a picture book Iβd read as a young kid. Good thing I caught them early!

I think childhood impressions are the most prone to stick with us the rest of our lives.
