I like the lighting and the shadow cast against herself. Her expression makes her look a bit scary as she runs off to hunt/kill whatever it was that wronged her, so I would not want to cross her in the woods. I was curious though, is the gun a bit disproportioned -- it seems kinda small?Β

Yes, I chose to paint the gun in size that wasn't realistic so that it would fit the composition. I know that at some point I'm going to tick off people who like guns and also animals because I don't really focus on making them exact. At some point I'm going to have to put more effort in though

I don't see a problem if the gun is cut off by the edge of the image but I do see what you mean since it would make the image a lot taller than you want if it were full size. You could just tell everyone it's a custom rifle.

Well that is an interesting twist on Little Red Riding Hood. I'm guessing she has a permit for that thing. Very well painted. I like the angle of the road and the farmhouse in the background. Β Excellent work.
