"The Comedian" from "Watchmen"Based on his movie appearance, I did this for (it's his birthday, say happy birthday to him dammit, lol!)
If you've read Watchmen or seen the movie, this dude needs no introduction
The actor who played him (name escapes me) in the movie did an AMAZING job, I have a problem deciding whether him or Rorschach was the better performance (in my opinion, lol)
Can't wait for the director's cut of the movie when it comes out in July!!

In my opinion I absolutely LOVED it, I thought it was AMAZING. But its hard to recommend because everyone is so split on it, people either loved it or HATED it, and like with my friends, its split RIGHT down the middle. So its one of those "you have to see it for yourself" sorta flicks :-P
I'll just warn that it definately earns its "R" rating due to some of the mature themes and violence, definately not like Dark Knight or something like that :-P

I thin everyone out, stylistic thing :-P His arms are beefy and thats whats importan, lol :-P Its either that or they get drawn too big, my earlier draft of the pencil outlines for this he was a bit thicker (esp. upper body) and he was looking more fitting for Dr Manhattan's body, so I re-did it and got what you see here.

I'm not very good at likenesses, so I'm happy it kinda looks like the actor :-P I'm more worried that whenever I do some of the other characters they'll look NOTHING like the actors at all and will look out of place with The Comedian :-P

I just remember his last name is Morgan. Yeah, he was AWESOME, actually made me feel sorry for the character, which proves how good of a job he did on him, seeing as you see those horrible acts before you even get to the stuff to make you feel bad for him. Can't wait to see this guy in other movies!

Amazing work, You've captured him perfectly, his expression his stance everything, their is nothing about him that isnt the comedian. Truly great work! Keep it up!

I was trying (and I say TRYING) to make it "kinda" look like the actor from the movie. I'm not very good at likenesses (I'm very hit or miss, mostly miss, lol) so I usually try to attempt to make it "kinda" look like him/her. I think I "kinda" got it, I'm just worried that the other Watchmen (whenever I get to em) wont look anything close and they all look out of place from one another :-P
