First of all, I have no clue about crafts, but I will do my best to give you nice and constructive comment Okay, I like the general idea a lot. You have tons of skulls in the internet and billions of tons of cats, so why not something new and make cat skulls? As I read in some comment above, this is a real skull. This fact alone gives the picture something... eerie. But this is what you wanted to achieve, right? The crystals on the top (I assume they are real, too?) give the whole sculpture something uniquely mystic. Perhaps it could be a prop for a movie involving sorcery and witchcraft, or just as a nice theme-based decoration, along with some (black) candles, don't you think? Overall, a pretty idea

Well that's something you don't see everyday. At first I thought it was a little odd, but then I remembered a lot of people is the south have bull skulls. So same difference. Who am I to judge?

Now for the real comment:
It looks well made. It would have been neat to see some of the quartz scattered sparingly across the skull, and still have it clustered at the head. You could have had the quartz jutting out between the eyes all the way down to the snout at various heights, and it would have created the illusion of the skull about to crack open.

But that's only if you wanted to go morbid! I don't know your intent here. It seems to be a decorative peice.

All in all good a job.

Thank you! It was a custom order someone requested me to make. They sent me an drawing of a cat skull with the crystals off center and a little around the eye orbitals. I didn't get to be as creative on this as some of my other ones, but I still love the turn out nonetheless. I'll keep those in mind for future projects though!Β

Ah I see that now- that this is a commission. My only internet source is a phone, and I rarely turn it long ways. But I can see the title now in the return comment.

You're welcome.

Thank you so much! Yes it is real. I get a lot of my skulls from my friends that go hiking and stumble across them, or that across dead animals and process them for their bones. Everything I make is ethically sourced and cruelty free.Β Β
