Wenn alle Deutschen einen Staat bilden sollten müsste Nordschleswig und Oppeln auch dazu gehören.

Aber Oppeln ist zu klein und keine Deutsche bleiben herum auf Schlesien. Es würde einen Exklave sein und das ist schwer zu mitarbeiten. Nordschleswig gibt nur 15.000 Deutsche und sie wählten aus, daß sie mit Dänemark bleiben. Ein moderne Deutschland soll den BRD, Österreich, Luxemburg, Liechtenstein, Elsaß (vielleicht Lothringen, aber Elsaß hat mehr Deutschsprecher) und Südtirol haben; nichts anders, weil die Deutschen nicht mehr mit viele Menschen auf anders leben.

Yeah, especially in foreign countries many people think Germany should get bigger again. Not in Europe but in America and Asia. BTW it's interesting that in Germany there's now a kind of romanticism for the Kaiserreich.

From almost immediately after the end of WWI, there was some guilt in the English speaking world about the punishment in Versailles. Truthfully the Kaiser and General Staff were right scumbags for their treatment of Belgium, but the German people did not deserve the punishment they suffered.

I read that too, America did not take part in the conference of Versailles,
and Britain didn´t want to treat Germany too bad. But at the end they allowed
the french government to kick Germany down into the crisis that leaded to the next war.
I don´t know what was so difficult about just doing ethnical borders, but to also see
historical borders.
