Aerodynamically, my arctic draiks shouldn't be able to fly, they don't have the 'fingers' in their wings.
But their body temperature shouldn't be below freezing either. ;D

and I was thinking last night.
For all technicalities their wings should be huge because cold air is thin and harder to fly in, but on the other hand should be small so they don't lose body heat. In that case, they should have giant fuzzy wings, but then they'd just look like flying cats with ear fins XDD

They don't have heat in their bodies, their blood is below freezing (though has anti freezing chemicals) and I don't think the air is too thin where they live because they live at sea level, where the air is thick.
They say the air is thin in the cold because the coldest, snowiest areas are high in the mountains where the air does start get cold.
