IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT QUESTIONS

Well, the thing is that soon after I made this tutorial, I stoped using PMDE, and that means I don't remember almost anything about it. So if you have any questions, I'm sorry, but I highly doubt I can answer them D:

This is the first tutorial I ever made. Hope it's ok and easy to understand...
It's about how to delete a part of the model, but not a whole section :3
I'll make more tuts later if needed ^^

3. add it to pmd or drag it,Β

Select the area desired and start to gently pull them apart to an extent. Do this multiple times and readjust areas every now and again, even it if's just one point.

Are there anyway to delete just half of the sleeve?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

Zeck143 In reply to segawa2580 [2013-06-06 23:22:01 +0000 UTC]

Box select the area that you want to delete (you can select several sections at a time by holding Shift), then go up to edit. Go to Vertex, and scroll down to Delete Selected Mesh.
I think that's what you're looking for.

Deleting bones is a different procedure. Unfortunately, I don't remember it right because I haven't used PMDE in ages. I suggest you to look for a "How to delete Bones" tutorial

AruoraOkami [2013-03-05 22:36:41 +0000 UTC]

Do you know how to rid the model of ears?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Krlytz In reply to AruoraOkami [2013-03-06 01:23:56 +0000 UTC]

I guess you would have to select them and delete them with this method, and then move the points around it to edit the shape (so it doesn't look like a hole)

However, it's been ages since I last used PMDE, so I'm sorry if I can't help you anymore than that D:

Krlytz In reply to Scootie-chan [2013-02-26 18:03:37 +0000 UTC]

I think it applies to any section of the body you want to delete. It can even be a single orange dot.

I'm sorry I can't give you any more help than this, because I actually haven't used PMDE in years "Β·wΒ·

Question: If you change a model that came with MMD automatically, will it be that way when it's opened in MMD? I want to make a Kaiko out of Meiko, but I'm afraid it will replace Meiko

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Krlytz In reply to JaneyKara [2012-08-26 22:22:47 +0000 UTC]

I think that, as long as you save the file with a diferent name (go to "save as" instead of "save" and change the name), there won't be any problem. You'll have the orignal file with its original name, and a new, edited file, with a different name :3

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JaneyKara In reply to Krlytz [2012-08-26 22:23:54 +0000 UTC]

OK I actually have two versions of MMD so I can recolor a Meiko from the one I barely use
