Description
This is a design I did for Dr. Lava 's recent translations of Ken Sugimori interview about the origins of all Gen V Pokemon designs. This one in particular is for a hypothetical pre-evolution for Litwick. Originally the line was supposed to go Flame -> Candle -> Lantern but they couldn't get it to work so they dropped the flame and added a chandelier. I wanted to capture the idea of a ghostly will-o'-wisp and combine it with the character of Litwick. Hope you like it!

that’s very cute! but a prevo for a 3 evo pokemon doesn’t really make sense lol. It looks good tho!

If you read the article you’d see that this was the original base stage and chandelure wasn’t a thing. They scrapped the flame and instead made Litwick the base stage and added in Chandelure.
