Description So I enjoyed revisiting Turacasque so I decided to revisit an old contest entry starter Ribbitar . I wanted to try making him a little more toad-like haha. What do you all think? Better? Worse?...I also did not really do a good job with the fire, gotta study that technique better haha.

This redesign (particularly the new eyes, flatter head, and bumpier skin), really makes its design more unique while retaining the cuteness usually found in first stage starters.

I think a fire/poison fire-bellied toad would be an awesome starter. I also like how his main color isn't the stereotypical red or orange.

Definitely a good update. I'm curious to see where you'd go with the design, but I really like how "fiery" this guy feels, down to the bumps on his skin seeming like bubbled up hardened lava or coal. Fire eyes are sweet too.

He's so cool! I'd say it's a big improvement on the other one for sure, it definitely gives off more of a hot goopy toad vibe than the last version, and the eyes are great! The last ones were a bit "Anime girl" if that makes sense If you were planning to remake its evolutions I'd say make it get goopier as it goes, and keep the new eyes and fire style. Maybe give it a muk style mouth with goop strings
