Description AWWWWWWWWWWWW YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! "PLZ JK xDD"

Nintendo didn't announce Mega Krookodiel, but this is pretty much how I envision "yours truly" mega evolving into....

Before I talk about this mega, I'll explain Krookodile's current usage in the current XY OU. While it's still UU,  Krookodile has already begun to prove itself in the sixth generation through a combination of several factors that contribute to its improved viability. Steel's defensive nerf this generation means having a dark and ghost resistance quite useful, and Krookodile's plethora of support options such as Knock Off "which got its attack power boosted to 97", Stealth Rocks/Toxic, Dragon Tail, and Taunt make him a VERY useful stallbreaker. This point is also bolstered by his ability to cause switches after intimidate's attack drop takes place.    Krookodile can also function as a late game sweeper thanks to it's Its Moxie ability, along with its amazing STAB Dark- and Ground-type coverage and base 117 Attack and 92 Speed, make Krookodile a formidable sweeper; it can also easily score a Moxie boost with Pursuit against weakened targets attempting to flee. While 92 speed is certainly workable, Krookodile appreciates faster threatening Pokemon being removed or crippled with a status before being brought out to do his janitorial duties. In conclusion, normal Krookodile is certainly a usable Pokemon, but with a pitiful defensive typing that gives a weakness to Fighting, Fairy, Ice, Water, and Grass, which are all very common attacking types, a below average speed and bulk that allow many offensive mons to outpace and OHKO, mediocre special bulk, and lastly the fact that Krookodile is forced to rely on leftovers for longevity as a defensive mon can be disappointing.

Now for my MEGA KROOKODIEL!!!!!!   It's new stat spread would be 100 HP, the same 117 Attack, 120 DEFENSE, 65 Special Attack, 110 SPECIAL DEFENSE, and 107 points in Speed. It's Mega Ability would Strong Jaw, an ability that ironically ANGER POINT of all things wasn't changed to. With this ability, Thunder and fire fang would be very competent coverage moves and on offensive sets Crunch would cause LUDICROUS DAMAGE. To improve the trend Nintendo started with a 10 point Defense boost, he will become the second most bulky dark type in THE ENTIRE GAME.... Second only to Mega Tyranitar, "which Mega Krookodile would completely counter". For Defensive/Support sets, this new bulk would allow Krookodile to stay in the ring far longer than in past metagames. Now the most game-breaking change Krookodile would receive is a 15 point boost in speed. A sizable amount of threats than would OHKO Krookodile now would be doing at most 2HKOS or even be out-sped by Krookodile for Krookodile to then OHKO... xD

With all the technical shtuff out of the way, lets discuss the cosmetic changes!!!
Mega Krookodile would stand at 6"11 and weigh 646 Lbs, nearly doubled in size. The forearms are now far more bulky, It's Scutes take up far less of the design, harking back to Krokorok to show it's increase in speed, and it regains the original Sandile/Krokorok bands and coloring. The more outlandish additions to the design include a pronounced lower jaw to embody Strong Jaw "Not that it needed it xD"  far more intense eyes and jagged mask, and finally a Gharial's Ghara. www.visualphotos.com/image/1x9…  Gharial's are really weird, critically endangered crocodillians that live in southwest asia whom are also the inspiration for Krookodile, and I wanted to bring that out more in the design

(A Feraligatr would probably still disintegrate it )

Nice job though, love the work on this one.

But megas don't get a change in HP though! D: Something that is due to the fact that it would mess with the programing ooof the game (or something like that. Look it up if you don't believe me).

That aside, maybe the bulk of the mega evolution stat boost could go into it's defences like you said, but with a small portion going into it's attack. Now for the speed. Instead of using the mega boost, Megadile would instead take points from it's mediocre special attack and put them in speed. Something that really shouldn't be a problem...unless you wanted to use krookodiles "amazing" special moveset in a gimmick set.

The new stats would probably be something like 95/137/120/50/110/10. Though im not sure if this seems too OP. Thoughts?
