Description
Another image as part of my Bath Crematorium project. The image depicts the anti chamber just outside the main chapel where mourners can find solace to be alone with their thoughts. The only source of light is from above, focusing the viewer on the thought of ascension and the idea of moving on. By constructing the space with insitu concrete it is embued with a primal feeling, giving a sense of finality to such an important event.Read the tutorial for how I created this image here [link]

The geometry is very well done, and the texture of the walls is fantastic.

Yeah, but I think people enjoi it 'coz the concept and eyecatching pose rather than seek for flawless in executation

Awesome. The angles are quite impressive. As spacious as it is the model seems crowded into this space. It's quite psychological.

still looks like she is just floating also all you did was go: plane plane plane plane. TEXTURE render with super high shadows and some kind of fake one then copy paste the model. add some different maps next time like more obvious specular and bump maps. also the texture looks really badly tiled.
concept is good execution was quite bad

wait I take back that statement about super high shadows these are super SLACK shadows with no soft edges and even shadow errors. seriously learn how to tweak the render settings a lot more.
one more thing before I just keep staring and finding more things wrong with this: this must be either a sky with no atmosphere or a very cloudy then if so the shadows would be even less obvious. You have really no excuse for such a poorly designed peice

That looked like such a cool place... until I read the description and realised what it was used for.
STILL. This is an amazing piece! I love the lighting and the shading :3 And her high heels are gorgeous, lol. Great job! 8DDD
I still want to live in this place though...

This is positively beautiful, and seamless, I might add. I had no idea this was a 3D endeavor until I browsed your related works and happened to catch sight of the category tags. The craftsmanship, the design, the texturing... it's flawless. For me and my eyes, it's impossible to tell that this was actually rendered by a computer. :0

We really need to see more spacial design/interiors/architecture as DDs. Way to represent!
Again, this is a really great perspective from a really great project.

Just amazing. It's hard to pick out the certain parts that make it good, since they seem to be so high in number that they overwhelm the senses. The simplicity, the evocative feeling gained by watching this young woman just try to find peace and solace alone in this space, for instance.
All in all, great photo, and completely deserving of being picked for daily deviation!

This is a wonderfully evocative piece! It reminds me of some of the rooms in the Jewish Museum in Berlin. It gives me the same speechless feeling of awe.
