Description
Another image as part of my Bath Crematorium project. The image depicts the anti chamber just outside the main chapel where mourners can find solace to be alone with their thoughts. The only source of light is from above, focusing the viewer on the thought of ascension and the idea of moving on. By constructing the space with insitu concrete it is embued with a primal feeling, giving a sense of finality to such an important event.Read the tutorial for how I created this image here [link]

I like the way this scene expresses the different aspects of contemplation - the greyish tones, the angle of light (not reachable, but in sight). It's like i can almost feel the rough and cold stone walls...

Great shot! I love the design the clean lines make, also the textured walls and contrast. I like the placement of the girl in the photo. Like shes alone with her thought, in a very empty cold room.
