BECAUSE NOSTALGIA IS GIVING ME ANOTHER GOOD HARD KNOCK ON THE HEAD AGAIN.I missed this old movie, especially Tack.
Drawing Tack's hands were quite fun actually.
If you really think TTANTC is a rip-off of Aladdin, think of it this way...IT EXISTED FIRST BEFORE ALADDIN.
If it's the other way, I don't wanna be corrected. XD

(and I think they came out within a year of each other. Aladdin came out in 92, and for Cobbler it's a little skewed because they changed the title and shit so many times.)

Have you seen the Recobbled version? It's a fan-version that a guy made that took all of the cut footage he could find (including storyboards, animatics, etc), and he edited it in to get it as close as possible to the original intention of the film--It's actually about an hour longer with all of the new stuff in it. I think it's on Youtube, if not, I know there's *got* to be a torrent somewhere. I highly recommend it to any fans

Ohhh! Yeah, I actually spent a night or two tracking down Garrett Gilchrist, the guy who edited it, in order to get a copy of it. I was on dialup at the time but determined to watch it all the same, XD;
Ah, yeah, I meant the guy who edited it together (bad wording, my fault, lol). Richard Williams is awesome... His Raggedy Ann movie's also really great ^^ Very tripped out, beautifully animated.
