This is such a confusing shot. I really love the use of contrast and how the chair looks ot be suspended in some way, but then you cna see the shadow on the wall.

The extreme black for the background works well, especially right next to the extreme white. Very simple in essence, but it makes the chair stand out better.

This is such a wonderful study in lines and perspective, for a moment there you can almost believe that the chair is suspended in some zero gravity world, then you realise it's attached to the ground, of course, as it should be. The simplicity, and excellent contrasts really bring this piece from a simple study into abstract. Beautiful!
