Welcome! Tonight, “Don’t Ask What Inspired This Crazy Idea” Theater presents our special production, Dancing With The Autobots! I’m your hostess, The Artist Currently Known As Kryschenn. Enjoy the show as celebrity Autobot dancers strut their stuff for a chance to win feedback from an internet full of judges! And now, here are our sixth contestants!

A last-minute addition to the roster is the duo of Moonracer and Blurr, dancing a highly interpretive rendition of classic Salsa. Back when DWTA was holding auditions, Moonracer made the cut with her then-dancing partner and close friend, Powerglide. However, as Moonracer’s dancing style is a bit unrestrained, to put it politely, Powerglide soon discovered that Moonracer’s elbow could be even closer than their friendship, and he withdrew from the competition with a damaged optic. In the wake of that injury, Mirage stepped in, confidently claiming he was well-versed in dance, as it was a pastime of the nobility on Cybertron; however, he of the upper-class was accidentally felled by an upper-cut to the chin in their first rehearsal. Surprisingly, Perceptor proposed to be Moonracer’s partner after that, feeling that instruction in dance would be a very informative lesson on the dynamics of movement and the mathematical expression of musical rhythm. He was forced to withdraw after a sudden education regarding the concussive impact of a knee to the nuts and bolts. After that, Trailbreaker offered to dance with our forlorn heroine, though it was decided that his stipulation of using his force fields to protect himself would give him an unfair advantage. Soon after, Hound offered to use his hologram projector to cast an illusion of himself dancing with Moonracer, thus eliminating any physical danger to his chassis. Though he is to be commended for original thinking, the show’s creators decided it was far too easy to make a hologram dance even better than the person who was projecting it. Eventually it was realized that a logical partner for Moonracer would have to be someone with the speed and dexterity to dodge her more, shall we say, enthusiastic moves. Blurr has filled that role admirably, in that he has survived four rehearsals with Moonracer without sustaining so much as a scratch.

All your hostess can say is that Blurr is one very brave mech. Shall we hear from the judges?
